Founded in 1947 by Hubert Coles as a carpet, fine furniture and gift store in La Jolla, Coles Fine Flooring has expanded to multiple locations across San Diego County specializing in Fine Flooring. Coles is San Diego’s leader in quality flooring and remains a family owned and operated company decades later. Hubert’s son, Steve Coles continues the family legacy serving the San Diego community with the help of his own children—the 3rd generation in the family business—Lauren and Jack Coles.

Our insurance department works with a customer’s insurance agency to get the job done and make the process as easy as possible.

In the 1970’s, Hubert decided to focus on flooring and opened Coles Carpets on Gaines Street. Coles has continuously updated our selection with changing times to include offering fine flooring of all kinds at a variety of price points. From hardwood, to tile and stone, vinyl and laminates, Coles Fine Flooring is San Diego’s one stop shop for residential and commercial flooring needs. And now, with the new Kitchen & Bath Department, we can handle the complete remodel of your kitchen or bath from concept to completion. Coles does it all.
