KCMA Certified Eco-Friendly
UltraCraft is part of the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturer Association’s (KCMA) Environmental Stewardship Program program. In order to acquire ESP certification, cabinet manufacturers must meet and maintain specific requirements that help promote a greener planet. Manufacturers earn points, based on compliance with criteria including: Air Quality, Product Resource Management, Process Resource Management, Environment Stewardship, and Community Relations. They also must comply with California Air Resource Board (CARB) regulations on cabinetry made from engineered furniture core (particleboard) and plywood materials which are made from 100% pre-consumer recycled materials. Additionally, their cabinets are made from panel materials that have an extremely low formaldehyde content and meet or exceed all CARB formaldehyde emission standards.
